Tools of the trade: Photoshop/ Corel Painter Years of drawing experience: 16 -----------------------------------------------
Well, i started to draw late in life, i started at 16, which is ancient in comics and cartoons for some reason.
I started to self teach myself to sketch by watching a cartoon and recording it on my VCR, then i would play it and pause a moment. I had 90secs to finish a thumbnail or the VCR would stop and take away my model.
I got very fast thanks to that trick. I wanted to be a artist after watching The Secret Of NIMH, all time fav. After that i was scibbling whenever i could. I sucked for years and years, having no teacher slows you down alot. I went to college for a Computer aided graphic arts degree, but thanks to funding shorting, i had to stop after less then a year. I didnt get to finish my classes but since i already knew most of it i still got a B, CG color always seemed easy with a Pen.
After i was out of school, i had to revert to mouse coloring and i was set back again. I now have my WACOM and i am here to rock and roll. I have to make a personal thank to a miss, Amethyst O'Brein she helped me so much when i was ready to quit and gives me someone to look up to, Thank you Ame.
Well that's about it except about a year and a half ago, my dad got sick with Congestive heart failure, as anyone could geuss i crashed, took me untill This june 2006 to get back, and some how i got better not having touching a pen for over a year.
Thank you for your support and time.
