Kristen Howard is a self-taught artist who has enjoyed drawing and painting living figures (especially human) since age five. She feels that, historically, art has not only been for beauty, but for portraying reflections of the human condition in many forms.

Her media is predominantly in pencil, but she also works in colored pencil and acrylic (on canvas as well as stone).
