About Me: Well I am just getting started in this crazy buisness and I am a bit nervious... I just got out of high school and I am about to go to college... I am planning to study Interior Design and Architecture... That is my plan A... My plan lower-case a is this... I really wanted this to be my life... Then I learned about the pay... not very much... and how hard and long it takes to get established... So I took this route... I am going to do the whole interior design buisness and finish with a BA and then on the side I am going to continue my photography passion and hopefully.. one day... It will take over and be capital A... My fingers are crossed!

Why Photography: I have been asked before.. Why photography and not painting... I always have been best in art... My mom was an art teacher... I have always been around any media of art... Then high school happened... In junior high I was in art classes and band and most importantly publications/yearbook... There I really found that I loved the take pictures... but sadly, not the cheesy ones everyone uses in the yearbook... So when I moved onto high school I chose to take a photo class and boy did that change my life... It really did... I had and AMAZING teacher that turned out to be a great friend and i learn so much... I still take pictures everyday... Well today I took pictues with my new medium format camera for the first time... That was interesting... I am always trying to experiment with new techniques and films to try and find the best way to get good at this thingy... When I was in high school I developed amazing skills in photoshop... I really can do just about anything in that program now... Thats what four years can do to someone... The Shakespear images were apart of my Advanced Placement Portfolio for school.. they all involve a play and the character that effected me the most and then how the play was overall... These images were very tough to create... Hamlet, Much Ado, and Romeo and Juliet each have over 125 different layers involved... Wow... So that is my photography experience in a nut shell... a very squished nut shell!
