Creating artwork is not only a cathartic experience, where I find myself lost in the thick layers of creation... but also a time of great study. It allows me to look at, scrutinize, pull apart and piece together all the different jagged elements of everything. This is not a practice by choice, but rather a source of my entire existence. It is a lens I often peer through… a way to take in this bizarre world around me, and somehow, perhaps, even make sense out of it.
