I try to look for an impulsive way to work, but simultaneously I do not want to forget about the form and composition. The process of work dominates the result. For me, to work impulsively, means to try to work automatically, improvising according to a according to a preplanned scenario (a picture or a color under painting). What interests me is to reach the level of feelings, so that the mind would not interfere with the process of work and would only serve as a base, a foundation for a further flight of the imagination. I try to see the future painting in my imagination as accurately and with as many details as possible. I look especially hard for the right color, I try to find, to capture my internal state through color. Color is by far the most important thing for me. In most cases I prepare several canvases at a time and work on them in turn. While working on one painting, I think about the creation of a new one so that I stay on the course of creation and do not lose the starting point of my search thus avoiding depression. This way, as soon as I finish a painting, I am ready to start working on the next one. My mind permanently erects the most hideous and unexpected ideas. Then I choose the most acceptable among them to assemble them into creative images.
