For the next four years unitl her graduation in 2002, Elizabeth focused her skills as a violinist and graduated high school ready to approach the music world at the University of North Florida. After her first year of college, Elizabeth decided it was time to stop repressing her other artistic talents such as drawing and painting and decided that she would change her major and challenge her self with a different subject.

In college Elizabeth worked hard on her artwork by reflecting what her professors had instructed her to do and through her research of master artists, Elizabeth also continued to travel and gather inspiration for artwork. After spending much time in the Caribbean and in Alaska, Elizabeth decided to use these experiences and apply them to a larget body of watercolor works that focuses on coral reefs. Elizabeth continues to work with themes of nature such as birds, fish and landscapes. She recalls upon her memories and uses references to illuminate her work with color and form. Elizabeth Knapp graduated the University of North Florida in 2007 with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in painting and drawing. She currently lives with her fiance and her brother in Jacksonville, Florida and is continuing her travels to the Caribbean and in Alaska.
