Dear Visitors, I am primarily a self-taught artist with almost no formal training. Two-year art school for children and short course of stained glass are not supposed to be formal education. My passion for arts goes back to my childhood and probably has roots in deep cultural traditions typical of my Russian heritage. Before moving to Canada, I spent several years in Israel, where my love for arts, history and scenery grew even stronger. My art connects with my specialty - glass and ceramic. Scientist by education, I make stained glass, photos and paint on glass in my spare time. Ontario landscapes where water, sky and rocks meet together are my endless inspirations. They are my favorite subjects for making photos in all seasons. My favorite subjects for painting are flowers. The painting process itself brings tremendous joy and satisfaction into my life.
