Hi there, my name is Meagan Stayskal. I am 20 and living in Hawaii. I was born in Bozeman, Montana. However, when I was 6 months old my family moved to Aleppo, Syria. I lived there for 8 years and did extensive traveling with my family throughout Europe and the Middle East. I then spent three years of my young life living in Washington state (in Prosser and Wenatchee). After Washington my family relocated to the itty bitty island of Guam. I lived there for around 9 years. And now I feel blessed that my life has brought me to yet another interesting place, Hawaii. Now that all the boring facts are out of the way... I have been drawing since I can remember and have always been interested in art. In highschool I didn't receive very good art education in school, so I was tutored on the side by a local artist (and friend) for about a year and a half. I have had work displayed at local galleries and events, have been on the local news for my work, and more recently, have started selling it. I mainly draw, but am interested in countless other approaches and types of media. I hope to take some college art courses in the near future, but am not sure yet what I want to major in.
