I've been a computer programmer for over 15 years, beginning with the commodore 64. The initial interest and enjoyment came from creating computer games. I can't say that endeavor was financially successful; however it did lead to the need to create art, sound effects, and music. From the 64, game development continued to include the Commodore Amiga and IBM. Primarily, Deluxe Paint III was the program of choice. It was a superb pixel editor. As time progressed and career paths changed, I dropped the game development avenue in favor of business applications several years back. Just recently, I've taken up pencil drawing at home as a hobby and discovered the enjoyment. It turns out to be a great escape from the distractions and stresses of normal life, allowing me to focus on a single piece. I see this activity continuing for years to come.
