I have been an artist since I've been able to hold a pencil in my hand. I went to college for my training and have grown in leaps and bounds. It took me years to find my medium and I am absolutely crazy about oil pastels. Perhaps it's the challenge that you can't make any mistakes, or perhaps I just have to become one with what I am creating at the moment. It's amazing how many ideas pop into your head at the oddest moments, most of my ideas come while I'm in bed trying to sleep, which never happens! I think this is my peak time when I get tons of different images that run through my head!
My ultimate desire on my journey as an artist is that each painting would be an expression of my soul and to use the talent that God has given me.
