I thought since you are here and this is supposed to me about ME that I ought to tell you about ME. I am a 23 year old self-taught artist from Oklahoma, I am of Cherokee, French,Scottish and Nordic descent, what you see is the result of years of drawing and or painting everyday since I was a very young child, Occasionaly I think that I should attend art school, I have had plenty of scholarship offers so money is not the problem, the problem is that I would rather learn one on one from a working artist. I have no problem with artists who teach the masses, but I am not going to put myself through the torture of mass education. Currently I paint in watercolors and occasionally acrylics. Now and then you may see a drawing from me but those are a rarity due to my love of color. I have found myself boxed in, it is, of course, my own doing, so I can not protest too much. I have had people tell me that nude art does not sell...I just happen to have a great love for nude art and fine art pin-up. So now that my chains are broken look for more fine art from me, not just mass marketable fantasy. (Although I will ALWAYS love a good fantasy piece!)
So what does this odd ball artist like you ask? What do I have passion for besides art? My loves include but are not limited to: Reading, I love books, always have....my parents had a huge library in our family home when I was a child that kept me fascinated for years. I have a little collection of antique books that keep me company in my studio and offer inspiration...I think the energy alone that rolls off of them is enough to inspire any artist, let alone the content! Psychology, one of the great loves of my life, the study of why people do the things they do...it's a very simple concept. I think I enjoy psychology because if you can learn how INDIVIDUAL people think and feel in general you are more likely to understand yourself, and as an artist if I can better understand myself then I am on the right path. I have a thing for fine tobacco, cigars and fine pipe tobacco...Although I do not get to enjoy it nearly as often as I would like. Anthropology, goes hand in hand with psychology, they study of humankind as a WHOLE. Last but not least I like naked women...I know that sounds weird for a woman to say but....I do. Its not necessarily a sexual thing, but more an appreciation of art...Women are, without a doubt, the most beautiful and complex creatures on this planet. And let's face it...every piece of art looks better au natural...

WOMEN, be they weak or strong, daemonic or angelic, givers or takers, lovers or haters....Women inspire me. Especially beautiful women.
NATURE, the curve of a tree, the ripples in the water....The glorious light show of a sunset over the ocean....Nature, the Ultimate Woman...Inspires me.
COLOR, color can say so much...It can be boastful, it can be spiritual, it can be lustful...It can be innocent....It can be sexy...It can be young or old...And when you put colors together you can tell a whole story without saying a word...Color inspires me.
