Here is an update on my drawing of Artist Kate Zambrano wearing skull make-up.
I finally have the inside of the hoodie finished. Now I’ll start the outside and will be focusing more on the lights and shadows. Even though the entire hoodie is black, there are shadows and lighter tones of black.

I haven’t been drawing for the past year. My mental health declined and as much as I wanted to draw, I couldn’t. It wasn’t an artist block, it wasn’t a lack of subject matter, and it wasn’t boredom.
I finally have been able to sit down and draw. I am working on a drawing of Artist Kate Zambrano wearing skull make-up. I thought it looked interesting, so I wanted to try to recreate it as a drawing. I’ll be posting and blogging more as I move along in the process.
