I'm 47 years old and starting painting just about 5 years ago with two professional artist here in Kauai who have taken me under there wing. I have thoroughly enjoyed the process and wish I could paint full time but the bills won't let me. I encourage all who have a passion for it no matter what age to just do it! There is nothing like the art of painting to feed the soul..... It has been 5 years since I starting painting and now since my friends have moved on, I paint on my own. It is scary to paint on your own and trust what you do. I second guess myself all the time.
