As an artist having an increased sophistication in the aesthetic and conceptual development of my work while exploring various media and content simultaneously has maintained it's sense of dynamic tension. The deliberate use of the subconscious and spontaneity is very important to my creative activity. I enjoy the risk taking aspects of shifting from one medium to the next. I have become to accept my own idiosyncrasies as valid. I love the sense of structural and organic happenings to create the overall essence of my art.
My work conveys a sense of subtle yet evolving elements of color, shape and form. Exploring the thick and thin varieties of color...flat and opaque to keep focus on the surface, transparent to suggest deep space. The experimentation, variety, and spontaniety or outpourings of current thoughts and influences traveling onto the painted surface satisfies some need in me while at the same time creating an image the viewer can find some form of identity in.
