Since the age of 5, an artistic expression had been embraced. Though I've dabbled within several mediums, the use of pencil remains constant for incorporating detail with shading & contrast.
Never, have I received an education in art, however, I have attained an Associates in the Graphic Arts, as well as Information Technology.
I am currently seeking to continue my 'pending' BFA in Graphic Design {aspiring a switch to illustration, perhaps}. Such an education has broadened my understanding & expertise in implementing the harmonization of colours, form, balance & unity within my pieces.
While...enhancing the skill for depth & detail in colour, Adobe Photoshop is considerably utilized with, but not limited to: filtering & layering; Illustrator has been a recent indulgence ... including Dreamweaver & Flash.
Nevertheless, the pencil is a primary medium; color pencils & watercolor are both assessed as tertiary, while my PC (mac occasionally, wherever available) is sustained as a secondary tool
