After graduating from Rhode Island School of Design in 2002 Max Kornell worked as a designer at a newspaper and in the entertainment industry before committing himself full-time to illustration. His work has appeared on tee-shirts, as theatre posters, and in various publications including The Los Angeles Times, The Washington City Paper, Black Enterprise Magazine among others. He lives with his wife and daughter in Los Angeles, California.
