Self Portrait

I have been doing Art work ever since I could grasp a pencil, pen, crayon, paint brush, whatever I could get my hands on. I can work with almost any medium, in almost any subject. I am an awarded and published artist as well as published poet. I am ambidextrous, and a contortionist, dancer, singer, & writer. I love nature and animals, going hiking, horseback riding, motorcycle riding, & living it up with new adventures. I recently Illustrated my first book called A New Man Book One The Pondering By Richard Mills, more online at http://fineartamerica.com/profiles/devon-wilson.html I was born in Pocatello Idaho I grew up moving around a lot while I was little. Most of my childhood was spent just South of Pocatello, just outside of McCammon and Lava Hot Spring, at the base of Hay Stack Mountain on the back side of Pebble Creek Ski area. The mountain range was my back yard and I loved it. I was always hiking through the forests, I would go horse back ridding, I got my first motorcycle when I was 11 years old and spent quite a bit of time trail ridding with that too. I found a lot of inspiration and life's answers from nature. I owe a lot of thanks to my Grandmother who kept me tucked by her wings, She showed me a lot about life and business, and I am grateful. I would have to say that I had one of the best Fathers a kid could ask for, he too instilled a lot in me, and both of them were very creative and inspiring as well as being openly honest and informative about life's truths. I love to create and I love enriching other peoples lives with what I create.
