Artist Bio

I'm a native of Lancaster,Pa.moving to Az.when I was 10.I've been a artist for most of my life.My first formal training was under Stephen Laney(artist/illustrator for the U.S.Army & teacher at westwood High,Mesa,Az.)My senior year I worked as a artist for the yearbook.I learned oil painting from the late Ralph Schaffer.(Formally an artist/illustrator for the Walt Disney Studios.)

Artists Statement: As a artist I feel that I'm forever changing and evolving, using new mediums and expermenting. The majority of paintings I have done are in oils or acrylics and are in a style called "romantic impressionism".The abstract/surreal paintings lend themselves to a variety of emotions and feelings.Bringing these emotions from inside yourself and putting them on canvas and paper, acting them out or expressing them musically is what the arts are about.
