I have always drawn and painted from around the age of 5 years.I have a distinct memory of playing in a high chair with watercolours and crayons in my Grandfathers garden.I also read ,usually at night ,Childrens fantasy authors.I began with oils at 10 years of age. usually copying dutch renaissance masters and the italian schools.I can still reproduce this type of art,but currently work on my own archetypal images,from my imagination.Alot of my art is autobiographical,It relates to the inner world and the outer experience of this world. So its a combination of the two.I have attended 2 art collages in England,and I hold the higher national diploma in Illustration. I was also an artist in the graphics industry for many years. I teach part time, Techniques of art and Art history.My art is a quest for my own truths and I hope they are an inspiration to others. I also enjoy fellow artists work as I appreciate their unique creative energies.
