I am a nature artist, especially water. Hello, I'm Kristy Hawkes, an Ogden local for 36 years. I was a stay at home mom to our four kids for two decades! Now I have a studio, more time, and my love for painting has resurfaced. I find my inspiration in nature, especially clear water lakes. I literally get in the lake to take my reference pictures, then I paint the beautiful and unique moments not normally seen, over and under the water. When I created "Nothing to Hide", it really propelled me forward and I became an artist in my community and I am enjoying every minute.
