I work primarily in the pencil medium because I like the instant gratification of getting right to the heart of the subject in a matter of hours. I enjoy drawing realistic faces but not photo-realistic as I like the rough edge/spontaneous style of art. I am constantly trying to achieve this perfect balance of realism and edginess in my works. I have dabbled in watercolor, pastels, charcoal, oils, colored pencil and any other kind of medium I can get my hands on. I love to experiment but rarely have time for it.
