Francesco Antonietti studied Art and Art History at the Eindhoven Academy in the Netherlands. He started as a teacher but since 1976 he works as a professional artist. Characteristic for his work is his feeling for fine details which can be seen in his oil and acrylic paintings and his pastels and etchings. He gives courses in different techniques. Motivation of my paintings.
My paintings are moments of expiriences in nature. The simplicity and silence are attractive to me. Most of the time I try to paint the sea as an unlimited source of beauty. The sea speaks an universal language. I live in the province Zeeland in the Netherlands, where the sea is dominating present.Hope you enjoy the work.
