AMAL Y A NAN É TUMANIAN (503) 516-4476 [email protected] www.amtunane.com http://amtu.weebly.com Amalya Nané Tumanian is an artist whose work has been exhibited throughout the (former) Soviet Union, in museums and public places in Armenia and Moscow, tour group exhibitions in Hungary, Spain and Germany, and in private collections in Australia, India, Canada, USA and France. Born in Yerevan, capital of Armenian Republic, she was a member of the Soviet Art Union and, some of her work has been bought by the Russian and Armenian governments. In 1991 her family immigrated to USA. Since then she had long list of local and nternational shows. Her paintings was auctioned and collected by many corporate and private collectors. Amalya Nané Tumanian artistic life and work was highlighted in numerous state and local periodicals and on the public television. She received her MFA from Academy of Art University of San Francisco, CA, and M.Ed. from Marylhurst University, Marylhurst, OR. Presently, she lives in Portland, Oregon.
