Self Portrait

Born in London, UK in 1962 but raised in rural Norfolk. His engagement with art began at school and developed into photography in the late 1980's.

As an artist, he finds his greatest inspiration from the urban environment in his mysterious, dark and slightly romantic images. Anthony enjoys the beauty of the finely crafted black and white photographic print.

Though not citing exact influences, the feel of his work can be seen in the photographs of Paul Strand, Robert Frank and other photographers seeking a classic interpretation of the city.
