AJ Omandac was born in 1985 and grew up in Davao,Philippines. He graduated with a B.S. in Marketing from De La Salle University-Manila in 2006. An active INK (Illustrador ng Kabataan) member,the official group for children's illustration in the Philippines, AJ was a former Art Editor of the Malate Literary Folio and was a previous apprentice under the international lifestyle designer PJ Arañador.
