This painiting was inspired by the beauty of these yellow roses and the story of their first appearance originating from the Gold Rush days. Working with several yellows became a challenge in painting realistic shadows in this piece, but a joy to complete. 11" x 14" Framed, Arches 140 Lb. Hot Press Paper, Double Archival Matts with Scripture text, "Be still and know that I am God." Psalm 46:10 Indeed, the Glory of God is everywhere as a witness to His great faithfulness. And when we take a moment to still our thoughts and appreciate this beauty we can know that God is revealing Himself to us. Adding details like the bumble bee, lady bug, a partially eaten leaf and the tiny dew drops all adds interest and life. www.hislambsonline.org
