Copyright 2007. David J. Vanderpool Okay so this isn't the first drawing for my book, but this %%^!$!# PC crashed and as a result I lost the three portraits I had completed earlier this year.... so I'm starting over. This is a draw of a friend of mine (age 40+) who allows me to draw him when ever I want. As you can see, he's an awesome model! Making the most difficult poses look easy. I have been scanning the drawing in stages and when I place them in the book, it will show the completed drawing as well as four or five small images showing how the drawing is being completed. This is the third of those steps. I have several models / friend who have volunteered for this project and welcome more if there is anyone out there interested in allowing me to draw them. I hope to have at least two male nude/figure drawings, two female nude/figure drawings and several portraits. One of the models I will be using for the other male figure and portraits is a new model by the name of Rocky (mid to late 20's) who has great hands by the way.. and a challenge for me! Please let me know what you think, and if you have any suggestions as hope you would like the book to be like feel free to sound off. I'm thinking more in the line of an artist's journal, rather than a 'how-to' book. David www.paper2pencil.com
