A gothic beauty playing the cello - out in the rolling fields - playing feverishly as a lightning storm approaches..... I adore Rococo furniture and had fun juxtaposing a magnificent sofa in the outdoor setting. The little black cat is my own baby Azrael, who has the habit of appearing in my paintings. I listed to a lot of classic cello music whilst painting this piece, as well as some Rasputina and Matson Jones, hehe.
