A Fairy Circus! This was a commissioned painting for a Hamilton Collection project revolving around a Fairy Circus. They wanted a cute fairy circus with woodland creatures - it turned out to be a lot of fun! A fairy trapeze artist (though I must say it's less of a death-defying act when you have wings, ahem) and her acrobatic frog, a darling "field mouse tamer", rabbits & chipmunks jumping through hoops - what more could you want?
