When you arrive at Crystal Mtn. Ski Resort, you are at 4400 ft. elevation. The highest point at the resort is at 7012 ft. Here the Summit House contains a restaurant and restrooms...a good place to relax before making your way down the slopes. Since I don't ski, I don't know what it looks like in the winter, but we used to be able to ride the chairs up to the top in the summer. The view of Mt. Rainier and the White River Valley below is spectacular!! The second photo is of the newest lodge at the resort, with a peek at the top of Mt. Rainier. I know very little about this place, except that you have to ride the chairlift to the top of the peak on the right, then catch another one to get down into this small bowl. It was being built when this photo was taken. My curiosity is peaked...maybe we will hike this in the summer and check it out.... :) Thanks for visiting!!! Have a great day!!! :)
