Artist comment: "It is a constant source of delighted amazement that fills me when 'out-of-the-blue' I come across an ideal subject to paint. Well, maybe it IS because I am always looking for the unusual and 'arty'. In this case, what could have been more perfect than not one old Studebaker, but two! I sketched and photographed them, then hurried on to my studio to memorialize them in gouache."
