Artist Comments: "As the twilight descended on this totally rusted old pickup truck in a grassy field, I observed the blues that surrounded the warmth of the vehicle set in the coolness of the evening. I could imagine that in its day the truck bore witness to many travel adventures; perhaps it never left the vicinity of its farm; perhaps a trip on the open road of the great Northwest. I enjoyed the challenge of rendering this scene using gouache (with colored pencil accents to indicate the grasses)."
