Artist Comments: "Alongside a backroad on the Oregon coast, a working truck sets in deep grass and weeds. With windows broken, headlights out, and more rust than paint, it appears weary and in need of rest. I especially enjoy the challenge of painting these relics of past glories. I think of the people from long ago, and wonder at the history of this ageing vehicle."
