Artist Comments: "I like the look of old farmhouses that are so much a part of the landscape that they appear as old as the trees themselves. This scene was a result of travel on the backroads of the Northwest. As I rounded a corner, I saw this house high on a hill nestled in the trees and shrubery. I painted the scene in autumn colors with pastel to convey the warm feeling I got from that moment."
