Hello...Almost night here, In Oct, 26,07 we gathered at the local synagog to celebrations of Yarin's class starting " BERESHIT " ,the first book of bible.The kids sang for us and were truly wonderful. The celebrations ended with getting "BERESHIT BOOK" From Edna their marvelous teacher.All books were warped in Golden paper and nylon,like their teacher asked us to do. The photos of all kids getting the books from the teacher were taking by myself...it become a tradition for me :-)) I felt myself honored and very excited to do so. Yarin was at first very happy that I'm coming and taking the photos of his class..but then..at the event..I truly interrupt him, with my taking photos...I guess when you take too much photos,it might embarrass your child...as well as I was embarrass by him, not too happy of me taking the photos of the event. Well anyway...I wish the kids of BET/1 Alot of success in their Bible studies and great enjoyment in all subjects they learn. During this week,every day they learned about a day of creation,that means today,they study the fifth day ...It sound to me that Yarin enjoy the stories of creation. Here is a Sideshow from the celebration taken at Oct, 26,07.

And..in a better mood for photography...truly asked for me to take many photos of himself, (sound almost like myeslf :-) Here is my Yarin in Old Jaffa acting as a model...and..well a bit of an actor as well...very proud of himself,he was that day.

And...his brother, Saar also don't like I take his photos in the last years...Here he is in a rare photo...Asking :..."what do you want "...as if he wish to say...please go...I'm busy with my PC :-)) If he sees this :-))..surly,I might have to delete this all post :-))... To you Saar with ALL MY LOVE.. photo,taken Sep, 07.

So I guess I took too many photos of my kids during the years,which I enjoy so much to take...and later to view AND...mostly I see as splendid souvenirs from childhood. Almost midnight here,I say good night...Sweet dreams...Hoping that you might enjoy my little post here today...LOVE,Nira.

Hello :-) My post for today is several photos of myself taken in Oct,6,07.Truly a wonderful weather of early afternoon , Autumn in Old Jaffa...Yet Windy a bit.The wind can add sometimes to photos, sometimes not...especially if it goes to the eyes, or puffed the cloths...and more. When I started my way in AW...(Aug 04), I had 1 small portfolio photo...I always loved and still love , to be photographed ...Very soon, with the artistic atmosphere around, I enjoyed using more photos of myself, as another way to express myself...BUT ALSO, in a way to find a composition for my self portrait. Surly, I have by now few photos of myself that I'm sure one day will be paintings as well.Perhaps there is one Oil of myself that I started several months ago, but left aside only because of having so many other important things to do in my artistic life, and LIFE in general. Most of September we were in holidays here. Still Sukkot .My kids are in full vacation during the last week. On Sunday I visited 2 different exhibitions at the same day. I post here now a photo from the - " OMANUT AA'AARETZ " This show is of "BAMBA" Photography and is sponsored by Bamba, Osem.(It's Tasty too ,the Bamba by the way...and Israel export it...:-)

Important note to viewers of my blog...dear friends...several times I received some kind of recipe FW.The meals or food seen here,usually is not done by myself. As I so many times say...I best ,can cook paints in the oven :-)...and this will be truth.Also English is not easy for me...I truly can't see myself translating recipes from Hebrew to English..so..please forgive me...but enjoy the photos...these are best recipes I can give you :-))

My very special thank you is to my parents ,who gave me their home to host these " Open - studio " exhibitions.It's not easy for them , nor for me ..the all preparation for this event and after the arrangements back.

AND...just few days after...Rosh Hashana meal .My parents home that serve my art as gallery too...host the family for a meal :-)

Photos from my "Open - studio" exhibitions taken at end of Aug and beginning of September. Annual ,cultural event in Ramat- Hasharon ,Israel, in which about 100 artists opened their home / studio for visitors (- 2 weekends of art).Here I post 2 sideshows of some of my visitors this year...Most of the people here are not familiar to me by names...except myself and Ilunia Felczer AW artist who live in my town and came to visit me.

And some more :-)...

And...Of course my very best friend Dr. Ronit Lavi came and her sister Efrat.

Well yarini was calling from school...he didn't feel well at the first weekend of art...so...I had to take a short break to bring him there too :-)) Not so sure what he is doing there under the table at the studio..perhaps praying...not that I taught him this...

And myself at the entrance of my studio with the sign of the event " open - studio "...Each artist got one , so that people visiting exhibitions can easily recognize the place.

Well thanks for reading and viewing..this is a very short preview since...the one I wrote earlier disappeared somehow...:-)) Perhaps I'm tired...or just perhaps the miracles of internet :-) See you soon in my next post...NIRA
