Hi Jacqueline, Corel 10 has the bubble effect. Have a great day, Tina

HI Again, I just thought of something else, look in Adobe in your pattern maker, as well as I can remember you can use the heal brush with patterns to make overlayed bubbles. You can adjust the transparency and such too. Hope this helps. Take care, Tina

hello,

you could quite easily use styles to create a bubble-like surface texture/bevel and emboss etc, and then use warp/spherize the grandchildren to make them look 3d.

i also remember seeing a very good tutorial on worth1000.com whereby the user turned an apple into a 3d glass refracting apple. worth a look.

additionally, if you do a search on Photoshop Raindrops Tutorials, i'm sure you'll get a head start on the style to use (just manipulate to suit a: the size of your bubbles, and b: the colours/refraction you want to achieve).

hope this is of some help take it easy ewan

hi jacqueline,

if you go here:

http://www.easyelements.com/photoshop-bubble-brush-set.html

there's a free set of photoshop bubble brushes which should suit your needs (i think it's the third set).

just choose the colour you want to use on the bubble, and then paint! (you may also want to look out for the scatter settings in photoshop).

hope this is of use. thanks ewan

Ok now i have another question, i down loaded the bubble brush set, but can not find them in my brush set, how do i get them into my adobe? i have CS2 version, i apoligize for the dumb questions but i am learning as i go with computers & just need some extra info sometimes

hi,

no worries. you need to load your brushes.

so, in Photoshop CS2, with a document open, make sure you have the brush tool active, and then right-click anywhere on your canvas.

this brings up the brush dialog. click on the little arrow icon (top right i think) and select Load Brushes. Use the explorer window to navigate to where you downloaded the brushes. Double-click/open and voila! (you may be asked whether you want to Ok, Append or Cancel opening these brushes). ok or append allow you to use the newly loaded brushes.

obviously, it depends where you downloaded the brushes to. you may want to keep all your ps brushes in one directory (on Windows the setup folder is: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop CS2\Presets\Brushes (i think).

bear in mind that photoshop has to load these presets everytime you load photoshop (a lot of brushes and especially fonts and styles and other presets can lead to slowdown) so you may consider having a separate set of preset folders outside the Photoshop CS2 root.

anyway, hope that helps. later ewan

ps - i was doing this from memory so it may not be 100% accurate, but it certainly should help you load your brushes

Corel Photoshop X and XI have bubbles ,click on effects, a menu will pop up, click on aristic affects, another menu will pop up and then click on ball's and bubbles. Adobe photoshop has the same artistic effect on it as well.
