Hi everyone :-) Oooooh Sky, yumyum :-)

Here is one of my favourites, or is it this one, nope it must be this then. Ah well its one of them LOL

Denny my old Mate : Denny teases me and says, "how many sunset shots can one person have?" I say never too many. They are all beautiful and unique.

Have a bet with your neighbours and friends. Tell them that each and every day they must take a shot of the sunrise and sunset until they are no longer here.

The one with the most images wins :-) Later buddy, Laz.

PS. Great expose Leigh :-) Thanx I had always wondered too.

PPS. Beautiful images everyone, wonderful collection of Skies around the globe :-)

Love the Snow shot Clare :-) I have memories of my time living in Freidrichshafen on Lake Constance South Germany.

I was there in the winter months and this place was breathtakingly beuatiful. So many times I sat for hours in awe of the frozen treetops, encrusted ice branches, and frozen lake.

I sat for hours one day with my walkman on, on a bench on the shores of Lake Constance, staring across to the Swiss Alps right in front of me. I was listening to "Apollo and The Pearl" by Brian Eno in endless loop.

It caught my eye that something was sitting on a pole out in the almost completely frozen lake. A silloutte of a bird. I watched it for what seemed like hours, wondering if it was frozen stiff. (The temperature was around minus 16 celcius)

Eventually, it majestically took to flight. It was a Cormorant. Very very strange that it should be there, almost impossible infact, but nontheless, I know it was one of these stunningly beautiful fish hunters. Denny will confirm my admiration of these particular birds :-)

There is a unmistakable serinity in snow imagery. Sigh...... maybe 1 day I'll go back there, maybe. Laz

PS I'm not naughty Clare, you started it with the Orbs. You know men don't need much prompting, Tch tch naughty girl more like ;-)

try using a lens hood---if you aren't already. It should reduce or eliminate "lens flare"...
