La Papesse

This painting is part of the Tarot card serie illustrating the 21 major Tarot arcanas. Hidden in the veil which separates the dream from reality, Psyché holds all the secrecies of the world, registered in a dumb book. In decorations at the same time Symbolist and common, reigns a stopped silence which seems to solidify all things... for eternity.

The glass work is incredible!! And the little cherub is marvelous, it's a Falconet, isn't it?:) I love the whole painting, beautiful colours and concept!
