Pale Rose bloom II

This is a companion painting to another rose I posted prior to tis one. Both are blooms from the same bush, but different angles of the flowers. They do not have the exact same backfround colors, but close. I would like to hear which one's background colors were best, if you have time to comment. Trying to decide what looks best. I used Painter Classic to paint this rose, and a Wacom tablet that hooks to my computer (comupter drawing tablet). I used airbrushes, water tool, and some pastels to blend to get this soft look.

Artist Reply: LOL! Rose petals actually are edible and taste lovely in a salad. Pretty as well!

I love the soft glow about this rose. Excellent work Terry!

Artist Reply: Thank you Angela! I love to paint roses, and tried to match the petal softness by painting this that way.
