Piece of the maranhense folklore, measuring 60cm of width by 93cm of height. The origin of this trick, called "Bumba-meu-boi" is lost in time. It takes place in the Carnival, and at the June festivities running through the streets of the cities in the maranhense State. There are several styles of the Boi: Boi de Matraca, Boi de Sabumba, Boi de Orchestra, Drum-of-Crioula and Cacuriá.
