"Pet Trilobite"! Some of you know that I'm a fossil/paleontology nerd, have some trilobite fossils myself, and thus inspired this painting. A beautiful blonde girl with soulful eyes is holding her pet trilobite. For those not familiar with trilobites - they were a prehistoric sea-dwelling beastie not unlike a horse-shoe crab today. Even though they're extinct, I used to want a trilobite for a pet when I was a little girl.
