a paint lesson

when I decided to give oil painting a try a couple weeks back I picked up a book titled Realistic Oil Painting Techniques by Kurt Anderson. this is my result from a lesson in his book. I know its not original but his lessons really helped me, expecially in the way I look at color, and the interpretation and mood color reflects.

wow - awesome. I too have just tried out oils - I am doing my Visual Arts Diploma at the moment and that was one of the requirements in class. I kinda like it and am going to go back and try some more. Love your work!
