Red House Finch

This painting is in part me learning the wonders of oil painting. I focused primarily on color and form to create a vibriant yet relaxing feel. plus painting a litle red bird was fun and definately a chang from most of my work

Although I don’t do Oil painting so I will not comment on the line etc, but birds being my feverwort subject I would comment that the red finch looks beautiful.
