The origin of this piece has long haunted me ever since its creation. I had sat down at the canvas intending to depict something vividly different. The next thing I remember is gazing at the masterpiece shown here. I was able to avert my eyes only for a moment to glance at my wristwatch, and to my dismay I had realized that three hours had since passed. I have named this mysterious piece "i", and it is pronounced like a long e in the English language, with a slight inflection at the end as if asking a question.
