HIBISCUS

Large solo Hibiscus.. done on primed board with tissue ground on flower petals.. painted and glazed with acrylic. 24" x 24" with a 2 " boxed frame, doesn't need framing.. can be hung, already wired and sealed in high gloss finish. These hibiscus are growing at my fathers house in Florida,, I can't believe some blooms are actually bigger than my head.

It explodes with the colors of a flower and a suset all at once - even the closeup is an exiting painting all by itself xx

I love the way you paint flowers Marisa, they are always so vibrant and jump out from the canvas

Artist Reply: thank you Fiona,, they are the most difficult for me to paint.. I don't know why yet. (smile)
