THE YELLOW ROSE

this is an oil done on primed board, boxed out frame of 2 Inches, ( will be painted charleston green which is an almost black green) The rose was painted with a reference photo of Greg summers but without the magenta tipping on the petal edges.. the background was done with a saran wrap lift off technique to give the impression of ivy walls behind the flower bud. the painting measures 20 inches x 18 inches x 2 inches.
