Frogs are so cool; and so unfairly maligned by people. They always seem absolutely happy, content, and joyful about being what they are. Their songs are more exotic than most birds. They leap and swim and play with such an enthusiasm when it rains and everything else has taken to shelter. A night spent by a lake without frog songs ringing through the cypress would be so diminished it is almost unimaginable.
