One of my favorite subjects to paint...a Troika scene. The scene is of a man driving his sleigh going home or going to the town, where he encounters hungry wolves, good thing the man has a whip. Troikas are sleighs or carriages pulled by "three horses", the center horse moves in an extended forward trot, while the outside horses with their heads pulled to the outside gallop.
