Molecular Trip 01

This animation was the one that took the most work. I spent days making it. I had only made two before, and both of those were simple color-cycling. This was motion, and it was a blast. I lived inside my molecule, imagining that I was piloting a sub through a fantastic trip. But I had to do it in my mind step by step, hoping that the result would be the rollercoaster feeling I had imagined. Getting from point a to b in 69 frames was the fun part.


But I had originally planned to shift the colors during the flight, in order to make the endpoint green, so it would be a seamless loop. I spent the night adjusting the color of every single frame.



After that was done, I kinda preferred the draft, even though it wasn't a smoth loop. Oh well, lol. I wonder which you like better?
