Any Colour You Like?













I'm sure there is some easy way to alter the color palette for my animations, but whatever software could make that happen, I don't have it. A friend asked if I could make this eye of wonder with purple, and I took it as a challenge to solve my bigger problem of how to do it for any animation, without having to do a lot of work.

I was able to generate a keystroke macro in Fractint, and now it is a cinch to let the macro run and do all the hard work for me. All I need to do is change the color map name and tell it where to pull the first animation frame. What used to take hours can be done in minutes.
